Make the most out of your experience
- Be vulnerable | Talk about the mess, the problems you're facing, the hard stuff.
- Show up | You get out what you put in. Attend Lessons, Circles, and other events; connect with others through Orbiit chats, in Slack, or in person. Take advantage of being a part of this community.
- Give and receive | We encourage you to ask and answer questions as openly and as freely as you’re comfortable in Slack and through other channels. This community is made up of expert operators, and you each bring your own unique value to the community. Pass that on by actively supporting one another.
- Save for later | The content, problem-solving, resources might not all feel like they're immediately relevant, so for the things that aren't, tuck them away to save for later. It will all be useful some day.
Our Guidelines & Norms
- Confidentiality | What’s said in the Circle, stays in the Circle. Everyone’s commitment to confidentiality makes our environment of trust, open sharing and learning a reality.
- Focus on sharing your stories and experiences | Avoid sharing advice unless it’s explicitly asked for.
- Be a present and active participant | You make the experience, not the facilitator. Put your video on to build real connection with the people here.
- Make space for others | Be conscious of the group dynamic and always make space for contributions from other members.
- Own your experience | Get your needs met. If something isn’t working for you, say it.
- Bottom-line it | Challenge yourself to get to the core of your challenges and where you need help simply and quickly. Channel your energy and effort into finding solutions.
- No selling or promotions | Keep Glue Club authentic, open, and solutions-focused, and refrain from solicitation. We’re here to support one another to learn, find solutions, share frameworks & best practices, not to find new customers for our products or services, etc.
